A step-by-step walkthrough for creators who already have art. You bring finished pieces or trait layers, zip them, upload the ZIP, choose the sale, and sign once in your own wallet. The book is about 12 minutes.

KURV runs on testnet today, on Base Sepolia and Solana Devnet, at testnet.kurv.fun. Coins are free and nothing has value. Try the path there. On testnet, minting, trading, and launching need an invite code. Browsing does not. Apply at kurv.fun/apply.

Who it is for

Creators getting ready to launch a collection themselves, without an agent in the middle. For the same steps done through an agent, read Launch with your agent.

What is inside

  1. What KURV is. A launchpad on Base and Solana. You bring the art. The book follows four steps: draw, zip, upload, sign.
  2. Before you start. Two routes: finished art, or trait layers that KURV combines. The example stack in the book is seven layers, background at the bottom.
  3. Folders and the ZIP. One folder per layer, files named layer_trait.png. Finished art skips the folders and sits in the ZIP.
  4. Upload. KURV builds a draft. KURV reads the folders, generates pieces, and writes metadata. The collection launches when you sign. The sale opens at the time you set.
  5. Choose your price type. Fixed price, mystery mint, or rising price. The launch wizard also offers other choices, named in Fixed, mystery or rising.
  6. Pick your opening time. One time, one time zone, posted before the sale opens.
  7. Two splits: mint and resale. KURV takes 5% of each mint first. You choose how the other 95% splits between you and the collection Vault (your mint share). A royalty of 5% to 10% on a later sale splits in half to you, a quarter to the Vault, and a quarter to KURV.
  8. The Vault, explained. Every collection launched on KURV has a Vault, and it can hold $0. A funded Vault can buy a piece back at that moment’s Vault Exit. The piece stays in the Vault. The exit is a quote at a moment, not a promise.
  9. Sign once. Read the art, the price type, the opening time, the royalty, and the Vault share. Then sign in your own wallet.
  10. Launch day checklist. Art, ZIP, upload, price, time, money, signature, and showing up for holders.

Where to read more

Testnet pieces and coins have no value, so walking through a launch there costs nothing.
